Nomads Solos, Inc. is a non-profit organization, chartered in 1984, in the state of Michigan. The main purpose is to help their single members to meet and enjoy themselves while on Nomads trips, as well as, through many social activities sponsored by Nomads Solos throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area.

The organization is managed by a team of officers, elected from within the membership, along with many volunteer members providing their time and services as needed.

Solos members often find travel companions and roommates for Nomads trips at Nomads Solos events.

Nomads Solos endeavor to provide a Solos Representative on every Nomads trip. During trip check-in an announcement is made to introduce the Solos Representative who will then coordinate a get-together for all persons traveling alone on the first night of the trip.
